Good Monday morning, folks. As promised in Friday's edition of the newsletter, we've got a new trading idea for you today. Time is of the essence too. The company just published a press release that could really get the market's attention, and if you want to be out on front of the crowd you'll want to start doing your due diligence now.

There are multiple contexts for this particular idea, but one of them is the simple fact that biotech as an industry is ripe for a bullish reversal following a tough past six months for these stocks. (We talked about it in detail on Friday. If you missed it, we really recommend you go back and read through that edition, since it's a primer for today's look.)

Another one of the key contexts for this particular trade right now: It's a biotech outfit with real - and realistic - demonstrable value.

Bingo. Though it took some work (and a renewed effort in the middle of the week), the market's key indices have cleared a key resistance level. There are still plenty more ceilings above, so don't get too excited just yet. All big moves start out with that first step though.

The daily chart of the S&P 500 is what it is. With the close of 1951.7 on Thursday the index has managed to move above a horizontal ceiling at 1949, and the 50-day moving average line (purple) at the same level. The next stop is 1983, give or take. That's where a minor floor that extends back to late last year now lies, and it's where the upper 20-day Bollinger band will be on Friday.

Oakridge Global Energy Does the "Impossible", Powers an Electric Tractor Trailer

Did everybody scoop up some Oakridge Global Energy Solutions (OGES) shares on Monday or Tuesday after we profiled the company for you on Monday morning? We hope so, as the up-and-coming company released some news this morning that can only be described as stunning. Long story made short, OGES had made the 100% battery-powered electric tractor trailer viable using its breakthrough lithium-ion battery technology.

We tend to avoid using the term because it's cliche and often overused, but this really is a game-changer for the industry. I wouldn't be shocked if it also catapults Oakridge Global Energy Solutions shares much higher.

I don't know how closely you've been following the advent of electric vehicles and the way they're powered, but I have, mainly because I've had to - it just comes with the job. Anyway, one of the unspoken nuances of the whole EV movement has been that, while electric sedans and passenger cars are compelling, passenger vehicles the biggest and best way to reduce vehicle-driven pollution and gain energy independence. The best way to do that is to electrify the trucks that pull trailers around. Problem: The power systems available just weren't up for the job in a meaningful way... that is, until now.

Despite What They Say, the Bulls Just Don't Have Enough Faith

You know, it's not that the market lost a fair amount of ground on Tuesday that bugs me. It's that it lost ground at arguably the one place the bulls couldn't afford for it to lose ground right now... at a major inflection point.

The chart of the S&P 500 below tells the story pretty well. That is, a former ceiling around 1949 and the 50-day moving average line now also at 1949 seem to have quelled the rally effort before it ever really get a chance to get going.

Eco-Shift Power Flips the Revenue Switch to the "On" Position... Big-time

Good Tuesday morning, everybody. Welcome back from the long weekend. We hope everyone enjoyed their time off, but it's time to get back in the trading saddle. One of our Featured Stocks served up some huge news today, and though it shouldn't be surprising, we've got a feeling it could prove to be quite catalytic for the stock simply because (in our opinion) not too many people besides ourselves were planning on something this big so soon.

Remember Eco-Shift Power (ECOP)? This was the LED lighting manufacturer we introduced to you on January 27th, explaining how although it had laid low for the bulk of 2015, it was spending that time quietly becoming a full-blown LED lighting solutions provider... as opposed to just a maker of LED light bulbs. (Yes, there's a difference.)

We were led to this conclusion for a couple of reasons. One of those reasons was simply the fact that the company released a new product catalog offering nearly everything under the sun LED-related, including custom-built LED lamps for use on top of the light poles that illuminate the streets you drive on. It's an ideal use of LED technology - even more so than the bulbs you may put in your lamps at home - because street lights consume a LOT of electricity. It costs about $150 per year to power your typical pole light, but only costs about $30 per year to power an LED pole lamp. Considering there are more than 20 million of these things all across the nation, we're talking about a lot of potential savings.
