Hi all. You know, it's been a while since we've just stopped to take a good look at the market, so let's take care of that first thing today. Besides, there's plenty to talk about in light of everything that's happened this week.

Long story made short, the weight of the Trump rally has finally started to take a toll. It's too soon to say the market is in serious trouble, but it's not too soon to prepare for the possibility.

Take a look at the daily chart of the S&P 500. The support line (dashed) that guided the latter two-thirds of the post-election runup has been snapped... and rather decisively. The selling volume has been pretty significant for the past two days as well. The VIX is on the rise too. In both cases, though the moves have yet to be "breakthrough," there's a little momentum behind the effort thus far. We have to respect that.

Good Tuesday afternoon everybody. Buckle up. We've got a lot to get through today, so we're just going to dive straight in beginning with the most important item... big news from Namaste Technologies (OTCMKTS:NXTTF, CNSX:N).

Cutting to the chase, Namaste Technologies -- which sells marijuana vaporizers -- can now list its wares at popular online-shopping site eBay (EBAY).

For those of you who've been following the advent of marijuana's legalization, you'll know this doesn't sound right -- eBay doesn't allow vaporizers, or "vapes," to be listed at the site. That was true until very recently. Now the online auction and shopping site is allowing some vendors to list their marijuana hardware in the newly-created "vaporizers and e-cigarettes" category.

Howdy folks. How was your Thanksgiving weekend? Did anyone brave the malls, or are most of you like me now and willing to do all of your shopping online?

Whichever option is your preference, those of you who are also subscribers to our Under the Radar Movers service are starting the holiday shopping season out with a lot of extra cash. Why's that? The URM newsletter locked in a 100% gain on Heat Biologics (HTBX) today.

Yes, this is the same Heat Biologics we told you about on Friday. Like we said then, though we shared the pick with you, we didn't share any stop-loss or target-price details. Since we don't think it's fair to leave any loose ends untied, we just want to make sure you knew that trade was closed out.

Hello friends and fellow traders. Did everyone survive Thanksgiving mostly unscathed? If it wasn't the overindulgent eating that got you, maybe it was the inevitable political discussions that surface when people congregate long enough. Hopefully you were all able to escape both traps.

Of course, it's not like the holiday's pitfalls are all in the rear-view mirror. Streets and shopping centers are going to be packed this weekend as consumers battle for the best deals. While the desire to sidestep the crowd has pushed more and more people online to do their shopping, even that's become an adventure now, as many of the best items are often out of stock by the time you're ready to place an order.

Good Wednesday morning, friends and fellow traders. As promised, this morning we've got a new trading idea for you... something we think you'll be thankful for headed into the Thanksgiving holiday.

We've already mentioned a couple of times this week how gold prices (down 12% since July's peak) look primed for a bounceback sooner than later. The question was and still is, what's the best way for a stock trader to play it? Sure, the SPDR Gold Trust ETF (GLD) could do the trick, but there are higher-octane ways to jump into any bounce in gold prices. For reasons too complex to get into today, gold miners are often a more potent way to ride a gold rally.

Not just any gold miner though. For you small cap minerals and resources veterans, you'll know the most explosive moves often come from a name the market's been overlooking, but shouldn't have been overlooking.
