Stocks are somewhat under siege yesterday and today following new highs across the major averages. It's all pretty normal though considering how strong the markets have been over the last few weeks. Is it a sign of things to come? Probably not, because it's going to take a heck of a lot more than just a little pullback to shake Wall Street's confidence.

Small caps in general are actually on the verge of breaking out though. Just look at this weekly chart of the Russell 2000 - the benchmark index for small caps.

Happy Hump Day everybody. It's Fed Day and the markets don't really seem to care yet. The DOW continues to be the big winner with the S&P 500 trying to keep up. It still just seems equities are the place to be until proven otherwise.

It's probably one of the most hated rallies in history for many retail investors, but that just doesn't matter on Wall Street. Until the big money has decided enough is enough, the major averages are probably just going to continue to go higher and higher.

We're back for what we're hoping to be another good week for stocks. The S&P 500 has once again found itself in new high territory and it sure doesn't look like the strength in stocks is stopping anytime soon. Of course anything is possible I suppose, but what's going to stop the markets from screaming higher?

North Korea couldn't do it. Wall Street has come to accept slow growth. No matter how bad the weather has been in certain parts of the country, that hasn't seem to create cause for pause. Earnings continue to grow. The dollar doesn't seem to matter. The list goes on, but the markets still manage to find new highs.

How's everyone doing this morning?! Its' been a few days, but we've got some of the biggest news we've seen in a penny stock in a very long time, and it actually came from our most newly featured stock in LottoGopher Holdings Inc. (OTCQB: LTTGF) (CSE: LOTO) (Frankfurt: 2LG).

It's not every day a small public company trading around $.30 cents per share has the opportunity to make an announcement like what we just saw cross the wires only a few short minutes ago. As a matter of fact, the last time I can remember similar news like this hit the wires was about 20 years ago when a relatively speculative stock in The Priceline Group Inc. (NASDAQ: PCLN) was trading at $16 dollars per share - obviously peanuts compared to where the company and the stock is at today.

From Harvey to Irma to tax reform and North Korea, we're definitely not short on market moving news these days, but the markets aren't moving much. Go figure. Like they always say though, the markets are always right.

Let's put it this way - there's going to be a point very soon where the markets are going to make a very big move. They can't be stuck forever in this little range they've been in for days now. Something will give, and if I had my druthers, I'd say the markets' next big move is going to be higher.

Maybe I'll end up being wrong, but it's awfully tough to bet against the multi-year bull market yet. At least until the major averages start showing much bigger signs of a developing top. It hasn't happened yet, and until it does we're probably better off looking optimistically ahead.
