Happy hump-day, one and all. Well, it wasn't exactly a happy one for investors, with the S&P 500 falling back a good bit. I think I've got something that'll put a smile on at least some of your faces, however... though I'm not even sure I was supposed to have it like this .

Let's save this information for last, but I do want to give you a teaser - one of the stocks on our Featured Stock list quietly filed a full-year results report with the SEC this morning, but didn't put out a press release informing investors of those numbers. I think a PR is coming, but until it surfaces you may have access to some information most of the market doesn't even realize is available.

Well, I think we can safely say traders are once again not quite sure what to think of the market right now. The momentum was bullish as of the end of last week, but when it came time to clear some key ceilings this week, the bulls hesitated. We're not in a downtrend yet. But, the uptrend certainly looks like it was thwarted before it could really get going.

We'll look at it the market in detail today, as we always do. We've got a couple of other things we want to take care of first though, beginning with a quick look at some of the more interesting commentaries posted at the site today.

Welcome back to the workweek, everybody. While Monday may not have been a great day for the market, it wasn't a terrible one either. The bulls following through on the strength they exhibited in the latter part of last week for a while this morning - no real surprises there. And, despite the last-minute lull, I think we have to assume the bigger bullish trend we see right now is going to remain in motion for a while. Though valuations are likely to keep a lid on stocks in the grand scheme of things, in the near-term, there doesn't seem to be a lot to get in the market's way.

I actually want to talk more about that idea today - figuring out where the current rally might run out of gas - below when we slice and dice today's market action. Before we get to it though, I want to flesh out some of the details on an idea we've presented a few times to you, but haven't yet taken a close look at. What's that? We want to explore just how overvalued the healthcare sector is right now, and why we believe it could dole out some surprising pain over the course of 2015.

Welcome to the weekend, friends and fellow traders. And, you probably don't need me to tell you it was a fantastic week for the market, with stocks snapping a three-week losing streak and seemingly jolting themselves back into an uptrend. Do we take the clues at face value, knowing there's a valuation problem on the horizon? I think we have to trade what we see, rather than what we think we should see. So, yeah... Friday's strength rekindled the bigger uptrend, and we'll have to assume this is the shape of things until we have clear evidence it isn't.

There's no need to pretend like there's not an 800-pound gorilla in the room. Federal Reserve Chairperson Janet Yellen "spoke" today, via the minutes from the last FOMC meeting. The hot topic headed into the release of the FOMC's report was whether or not the Fed was in more of a hurry or less of a hurry to raise interest rates compared to expectations from a few weeks ago. Everything else was just ancillary details. The timing - and language describing the timing - was the only thing that mattered, and traders stood ready to act on the announcement.

We'll slice and dice the details of the Fed decision below. The first item we need to take care of today is looking at the impact of the Fed's outlook on the stock market.
