You may not have noticed it today, but on Thursday, all the major indices made their way back to -- and deeper into -- record-high territory. Granted, it's somewhat old news now, but we still think it's worth pointing out (though not necessarily for the reason you might think). We thought the Elite Opportunity Pro newsletter as well as the Under The Radar Movers newsletter both had some enlightening thoughts on the matter today, so we'll be sharing some of those with you in this post-close publication.

First things first though... we want to pass along some news from Featured Stock Lexaria Bioscience (LXRP, CNSX:LXX) we found very interesting.

It was actually posted yesterday, but we had already sent the morning alert notifying you we were beginning coverage of Patriot One Technologies (PTOTF). It's worth backtracking a little bit, however, simply because of the caliber of partner Lexaria is going to be working with in the near future.

Good morning, friends and fellow traders. As we told you in yesterday afternoon's newsletter, today we've got a new trading idea that couldn't be any more timely.

We've mentioned this philisophy before, but it bears repeating now. That is, there are cyclical trends which are investment-worthy, then there are paradigm shifts, which are not only investment-worthy, but game-changing. The ongoing legalization of marijuana is a tremendous paradigm shift making a lot of people rich. The migration from fossil fuels to clean and 'green-friendly' energy sources is a game-changer for investors that will only happen once, but is bearing a tremendous amount of fruit for those who played it well.

There's another societal "reset", if you will, currently underway. For investors who are savvy enough to see it and respond to it, the potential upside is stunningly big. We think today's newest Featured Stock could be one of those names that becomes synonymous with the paradigm shift itself.

Good Tuesday afternoon everyone. Well, we can't say we're terribly surprised the rally effort pretty much petered out after most of the indices touched record highs today. As we've said before, sometimes traders collectively (and subconsciously) just need to see certain ceiling hit in order to start a selloff. Yeah, it's counterintuitive - a move into new-high territory is supposed to be bullish for stocks. I'm tellin' ya though, the market lives and loves to do unconventional, unexpected things. This is an ideal time for the bears to push back simply because it doesn't feel like they should be doing so.

We'll look at it in detail below. The first thing we want to knock out of the way today is sharing some - and responding to - a couple of reader e-mails. Both were in reference to yesterday's edition of the newsletter. Neal wrote:

Howdy all, and welcome to the weekend. And for those of you who love football, this is it - Superbowl 51. I'm not a bit surprised the Patriots are playing, but I figured they'd be playing Green Bay or Dallas. The Atlanta Falcons? Really?

Thing is, after the Falcons made the Packers look like a bunch of amateurs two weeks ago, I have to concede I've underestimated Atlanta and Matt Ryan. The odds-makers aren't making the same mistake though. They're expecting a close game, with New England favored by a mere three points. I didn't think it until the Green Bay game, but if New England is just so-so on Sunday and Atlanta plays like they did in their first playoff games, I can see an upset. Should be a good game.

Anyway, we can't spend the entire newsletter talking about the Superbowl. We have to do what we usually do on the first Friday of every month, and tell you the rest of the employment story the media didn't give you.

You know, no matter how long you've been trading these markets, there's always something to be learned in your quest to be a more potent investor. That's why I was pleased to have a long-awaited talk about trading -- and life -- with James Brumley, who heads up our Under the Radar Movers newsletter as well as contributes to the website. He's one of the best stock-pickers I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, and his picks have been nothing short of amazing since the URM's inaugural edition was published in May of last year.

And it's pretty much impossible to characterize his stock-picking prowess any other way.

While I, like many of you, have been a subscriber to the Under the Radar Movers service since the beginning, I never really sat down and crunched the numbers for the newsletter's short-term picks until this week. I was shocked (in a good way) at what I found.
