Things keep getting better for some of our currently featured stocks, and if this morning's news from Vitality Biopharma, Inc. (OTCBB: VBIO) and Biotricity, Inc. (OTCBB: BTCY) is any indication of what's to come, one better start paying close attention to what the PR pipeline is starting to tell us with these two potentially promising small caps.

Biotricity, Inc. (OTCBB: BTCY), a medical diagnostic and consumer healthcare technology company dedicated to delivering innovative, biometric remote monitoring solutions, has filed for a second and final 510(k) for the hardware portion of its Bioflux solution with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Biotricity expects to receive a response from the FDA on its 510(k) submission by summer 2017. Biotricity has already received FDA approval for the software portion of its remote cardiac monitoring wearable.

Good afternoon everybody. Stocks are mixed on the day with virtually no economic data to speak of. Yet, the major indexes still continue to exercise a fair amount of volatility. Gold, certain treasuries, China and REITs are all leading the way about halfway through the trading day, so it appears the markets are opting for a little conservatism right now.

The S&P 500 continues its series of lower highs and lower lows. But, today's reversal back to the upside following a weak move earlier in the session is challenging that recent trading pattern. Everyone continues to think stocks are going to selloff soon, however, all of us here at SCN are in agreement the markets are going to have to prove they're ready to move lower before we'll be convinced the Trump Rally is over for a while.

Good morning everyone - hope your weekend was well spent and relaxing. While we've got more market exuberance brewing already, I thought we'd shift our attention today over to something that was the topic of dinner conversation over the weekend - investing in mega trends and themes.

Most of you remember the many enormous investing opportunities we had during the height of the dot com boom, of which many of those stocks made investors a fortune over the next 20 years. Then, there's been several other ground breaking themes and trends since that have also provided investors with tremendous returns.

While perusing the SmallCap Network site a bit ago, I stumbled on a few articles I think really sums up the entire equity landscape right now. I hate to poach, but it is our site -- and we do really think we have some pretty good talented professionals -- who not only know how to make things interesting, but who are also pretty good at predicting the markets' future, which in my very humble opinion is far more valuable than most everything else out there I tend to read.

It's been quite some time, but small cap stocks are fast finding their way back into the spot light - not all of them, but many of them. And, it's a good thing because historically speaking, when small and micro-cap stocks lead they often lead the markets on to new all-time highs.
