Fellow investors,
Hi folks - James Brumley here. Most of you may recognize my name as the editor of the Small Cap Network newsletter, where I've been offering opinions, stock picks, market calls, and more for a few years now. I hope you've enjoyed them as much as I've enjoyed publishing them. For quite some time though, many of you have been asking the same question - "Where can I get more of this rational and gains-oriented insight?"
Today I can finally point my finger at a particular resource and say "Right here."
It's called the Rhino Report. It's a project I and the incredible team behind the Small Cap Network have been working on for quite some time, getting the details and the delivery just right. The time and trouble was well worth it though, as I'm sure you'll see.
What's the Rhino Report?
What's the Rhino Report? On the surface it's a newsletter much like any other. Upon closer inspection though, it can only be described as a solution to a problem investors have been facing for years. I'll lay out what the newsletter offers in a moment, but to really appreciate its components, you also have to understand where we're coming from and why we're launching this new venture. [Don't worry though - the Small Cap Network newsletter isn't going anywhere.]
I've been in the investment newsletter business for quite some time, writing a few, reading several, and following the performance of hundreds. You know what I've figured out? While all of them have their merits in one way or another, none of them provide investors with a complete solution.
Said more directly, some of these newsletters offer stock picks, but ignore the more-important market tide. Some offer data or information, but don't translate that information into actionable trading ideas. Some offer market calls, but don't determine if it's a short-term or long-term view. You get the idea.... none of these publishers really offer a true top-to-bottom solution that ends with specific trade entries and exits.
Well, the Rhino Report paints the total picture nobody else does.
I encourage you to visit www.rhinoreport.com to get the full details of why this newsletter is so special; I'll just hit the highlights here. Your Rhino Report includes:
Broad Market Outlook - There are plenty of market timing newsletters out there, but all of them operate in only one timeframe. If that timeframe isn't lined up with your targeted holding periods, then you're just out of luck. With the Rhino Report though, we're explicit with the expected duration of our calls. We label each as short-term, intermediate-term, and long-term, so you can act/trade accordingly.
New Stock Picks - Anywhere from twice a month to twice a week (as high-odds opportunities develop), look for a clearly-labeled new trading idea. These will mostly be long stock positions, but when merited we'll throw out an option or leveraged fund idea to take advantage of special situations.
Open Trades - One of the unique aspects of the Rhino Report that some other newsletters surprisingly don't offer is ongoing monitoring of our prior recommendations... we see all of our recommendations through to a clear exit recommendation. While we're holding them though, we'll keep you up to date on news or events that might move the stock's price.
Sector Trends - As the most underappreciated set of market information out there, our sector (and industry) analysis alone makes the Rhino Report worth it. The fact of the matter is, nobody does sectors like we do sectors. I can't do it justice here, so I'll have to refer you to www.rhinoreport.com if you want to see our sector analysis in action.
Economic Outlook - While fear and greed drive stocks in the short run, in the long run the economy drives stocks by providing the environment in which earnings can be generated. Unfortunately, the media does a pretty poor - and incomplete - job of turning economic data into good investment advice. Generally speaking, journalists (whether on TV or on print) take one data point for one month, and paint an entire economic picture with one broad stroke. Big mistake. The Rhino Report considers all the revenant economic data, and looks for trends rather than drawing conclusions from one single event.
The difference between the Rhino Report and other newsletters is clear... ours is a complete solution.
While the above description seems to paint the big picture, frankly, it only scratches the surface. You can go to the site itself to get a better feel for the specific strategies and philosophies we've adopted. Just click here.
We'll resume our regular market and stock commentary next week. I just wanted to take a break today to introduce you to a service I'm sure many of you will find to be a profitable resource. Take a look, give it a test drive, and enjoy being a well-equipped investor.
Helping you get more out of the market, James Brumley Editor - Small Cap Network
