Happy Hump Day everybody. More market strength is becoming a very common theme after single day meltdowns. Enough of that for now though, as the Fed's the focus, but even there - we're not expecting any real surprises. So, it's more about whether or not the major averages can find new highs. If that happens, we're good to go with small caps leading the charge lately. And speaking of small caps, we got more good news today from one of our newly featured stocks in Renewable Energy and Power, Inc. (OTCBB: RBNW), which appears to be on a strong revenue contract path with their recent announcements. Prior to the open, the diversified corporation with markets in energy-saving technologies of LED lighting, solar and wind energy, announced it has contracted with a large contract electronic assembly corporation in the San Francisco Bay area to retrofit with LED lighting both the indoor and outdoor facilities of the corporation's main campus. The initial LED retrofit will be indoor, for both the office and production areas of the facility, with the outdoor areas of the campus to follow. "LED lighting brings down energy costs directly with more efficient energy usage over outmoded technologies, and additionally, by constantly improving LED products with more advanced chip designs," points out CEO Donald MacIntyre. "These newer LEDs produce the same light intensity at lower wattage, lessening energy costs to customers even further over the life of the lighting. Renewable Energy and Power constantly researches the design and output of the chips being used in the product it provides, giving our customers the most advanced designs for the greatest possible savings on their energy bills. Additionally, the newest chips also produce the most satisfying lighting." Renewable Energy and Power, Inc.'s extensive engineering background in both the design and manufacture of power supplies (fixtures), and associated thermal management (bulbs) gives the company an almost unique ability to investigate the engineering qualities of its LED lighting products to maximize customer satisfaction. Based on our research into Renewable Energy and Power, Inc. (OTCBB: RBNW), it's not as much about the company's ability to get the contracts and the installs, as much as it is about how their experienced management team has the ability to really identify and provide cost savings value for small and large enterprise across multiple green energy platforms - with LED being the first the company's really starting to gain traction with. We brought you RBNW around $.26 cents just eleven days ago, and it's already seen some price appreciation since. Just a few days ago, the stock moved to as high as $.35 cents and now appears to be working its way back up around that level. That's a pretty good gain for a small stock very few seem to be aware of. Although the stock does appear to be attracting large volume interest, its current share price and market cap of roughly $8.4M does seem to have some room for further growth and price appreciation, especially if the company can continue to garner more and more large contract revenue opportunities. At this point, it appears the company is well on track after pretty much being a sleeper for quite some time. It's amazing what capital injection can do for a management team that apparently knows what to do with it. We expect more good things from RBNW, just like what we've seen recently with many of our other featured stocks.
