Market Outlook Barring any unexpected changes between mid-Friday and the end of the day, the bulls will have won another week. In fact, they seemed to be trying to send a message as we started to close out the week.... "don't get in our way". All told, the market is on pace for a gain of about 0.8% since last Friday. That's not a lot, but when added to the gains reaped in nine of the last eleven weeks, it's respectable.  The rally since the late August low now stands at 24% - a move that can simply be described as 'wow', especially knowing nobody really expected it at the time. (In fact, most of the usual perma-bears were n the soap boxes around that time.)  Few would dispute that the magnitude of the gains made over the last five months makes sense, in terms of speed or in terms if distance. A 24% move in less than half a year is a blistering pace, and the 258 (largely unfettered) points the S&P 500 has managed to put on the board since late August is also something of an anomaly.  To read the rest of this article, click here.
