Patience is a Virtue
Welcome back all! Hope your long weekend was an enjoyable one. Time to get back to work though, starting with a quick top-down look at the market. We'll then drill down into individual sectors (prepare to be surprised), and then drill even further down into today's hot stocks you may or may not want.
Before you dig in too deep thinking the market's momentum is here to stay indefinitely, you might want to apply this reality check.
Energy and basic materials. Basic materials and energy. If you're as sick of hearing about those two sectors as most traders are, here's some good news for you.... they're no longer the market's leaders, if you take a step back and take a closer look. There's a new sheriff in town, and it's quietly become trade-worthy while nobody was looking.
Finally, today's biggest pre-market gainers have one thing in common - they're all up in the pre-market session. Other than that, each has its own story, and each has its own level of buy-worthiness... even if 'buy-worthiness' isn't really a word.
