What to Watch Today The good news is, Conn's Inc. (CONN) is extending an already-impressive reakout effort after waking up from a long slump. The bad news is, you may not want to jump in just yet.  The numbers behind the impending spinoff from Expedia (EXPE) make sense, which is driving new buyers into shares today. There are two key questions you may want to ask before acting on spinoff hopes though.  We told you this yesterday, but just to make sure you've got your eyes peeled at the right time, here's what's on tap for next week's e-mails: Monday - Yep, still a secret  Tuesday - A junior energy stock with serious potential  Wednesday - The Motley Fool's got a little something to consider  Thursday - Another junior energy idea you'll dig  Friday - Back to regularly scheduled programming (aka 'the newsletter')  Energy, and junior energy in particular, has doled out some pretty sweet rewards of late, so the two trading ideas couldn't be coming at a better time.    Important Community Activity Our community members continue to make waves - in a good way - with some really good comments and ideas. Here's the best of the best.  Eric Stevenson's got a great point about how some junior gold miners and explorers are quickly becoming junior producers. If you're looking for small, aggressive gold and silver plays, this is a must-read.  The Mayo Clinic sees something worthy with Tapimmune (TPIV) and its cancer technology. And just to be clear, Mayo approached Tapimmune, and not the other way around. Travelzoo (TZOO) is ridiculously overpriced.  Would you go ahead and buy this stock and carry it over the hump already? Bryan Murphy's head is going to explode if he has to post bullish comments yet again. (It's TIV, by the way, and it actually is a pretty good call.) Jake Dueck has gone against the grain, stepping into Arete Industries Inc. (ARET) on Thursday's bounce even though it had been nothing but bearish for the prior two weeks. A gutsy call that so far has paid off.  Worried about all those vacant homes signaling doom for the real estate market? As Kate Humphries points out, the figure you're hearing may be more BS than something to sweat. Well look here... James Brumley isn't a complete perma-contrarian after all.  What's Ted Nugent got to do with Mercer International Inc. (MERC) right now? Scott Brown over at Dark Horse Trader's Hedge lays at all out, and explains how to play it. Option traders - this one's for you.  Biotech investors, don't miss out on a couple of brewing, off-the-radar opportunities. One of them's a cancer vaccine (hot, hot, hot), and the other one's a treatment for chronic pain. M.E. Garza's got the skinny.    There's Strength in Numbers  Looking for a place you can read opinions about the hottest small caps, as well as share your thoughts and picks? You're just a click away.
