Budding Industry Trends Good morning everyone. Just as a quick reminder, this is our last newsletter for this week, as we've got a sponsor e-mail for tomorrow morning. We'll still be publishing at the website though, if you have to get your SCN fix. For today, only two focal items... First, did the market just set us all up, looking like it was poised to break out only to begin the pullback now? Hey, it wouldn't be the first time it's happened. Indeed, it's the market's job to keep the majority of the people fooled most of the time. Here's a reality check for you this morning, though it's still a little too soon to jump to conclusions either way. The only other site commentary is Thursday's centerpiece - a look at five 'must have' industries for the remainder of the year. You ever notice how the media loves to love a sector, group, technology, or idea well after those stocks have run up? Yeah, well this the diametrical opposite to that. These groups are at the onset of new uptrends, and best of all, nobody's talking about them yet.   Pick Stocks. Make Money. High prices at the gas pump got you down? Maybe we can help. We've mentioned it before, but it bears repeating now.... if you've got a stock pick that's so great we just have to share it with our readers in this newsletter, we'll pay ya' for it. Just send it in along with a short pitch (who, what, when, where, why) about why you like it. If we whole-heartedly agree and e-mail it out to all our readers, a check for $200 will be found in your inbox in short order.   Important Updates From the Community 'Paper Trader', whoever who are, we dig a lot of your picks. Looking forward to seeing how these pan out, and what you trade next. If you feel like you missed the boat on Baidu, don't sweat it. New contributor John Udovich has some fresh ideas for you that are in the same 'Chinese internet' space that aren't Baidu.com. A couple of these ideas you've probably never even heard of before, which makes them doubly-compelling. Ahh... lemonade, baseball, mosquitoes, and stocks that do well when summertime approaches. It's 100% calendar-rooted and has little to nothing to do with actual results during the summer, but if it works, it works. Netflix is so yesterday. For those of you who weren't invited to the Royal Wedding between Kate and William (I'm sure my invitation just got lost in the mail), there's still a way you can enjoy it.... by profiting from it. Here's a run-down of the stocks linked to the event one way or another, Considering the price tag of the whole shebang, somebody's got to be making some money somewhere. Two biotechs you may want to keep an eye on.... Someone's buying the crap out of these stocks, and they have been all week long. Ya' gotta' wonder why, or more specifically, ya' gotta' wonder what someone else knows that you don't, given the lack of news behind the moves. What's keeping these buyers coming back for more? Maybe it doesn't matter just yet though - all we really need to know right now is that they're on the move.   We Value Your Feedback Got comments, questions or suggestions? We want to hear from you.
