Good Monday afternoon one and all. Today's the day. By that I just mean today's the day we close the can of worms we opened on Wednesday of last week when we first started to talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly of the investing newsletter world. Before we get to the gettin' though, we've got a couple housekeeping items to take care of. First and foremost, if you're going to be at the SeeThru Equity MicroCap Investor conference next week, be sure to listen to what the guys from Staffing 360 Solutions (STAF) will have to say on Tuesday, May 31st. That's when David Faiman - Staffing 360 Solutions' Chief Financial Officer - and Darren Minton - Executive Vice President - will be making a presentation about the company's growth strategy. The presentation is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am EST, though the company will be present for much of the conference if you can't be there for the presentation itself. Get in touch with the company if you'd like to set up some sort of meeting. And if you can't go to this year's SeeThru Equity 5th Annual MicroCap Investor Conference,Staffing 360 Solutions will make the presentation available to listen in on through its website. Again, go to the website beforehand for more on how to do that. Speaking of Featured Stocks, Bryan Murphy made a great observation about Oakridge Global Energy Solutions (OGES) today. The other thing we need to cross off our agenda today is an apology - I completely forget to give you my Preakness picks in Friday's edition. Hopefully you just extended my thoughts about the Derby's top contenders (which is more or less how I would have seen the Preakness turning out), though I wouldn't have done as well as I did with my Kentucky Derby picks. I'll try and do better with the Belmont next month. In the meantime, we've got a much smarter bet for your money. A little over three years ago when we started the Elite Opportunity premium service, we did so mostly because after years of looking at all the other newsletters out there, there just weren't any good ones that met the real needs of traders. That's not to say they're all bad, because they're not. It is to say, however, the vast majority of them tend to serve up more fluff than substance, and as such don't do active investors any real good. The Elite Opportunity solves that problem, but it only scratches the surface of the kinds of needs you and all other investors and traders out there have. So, after months of planning and weeks of developing and testing, the SmallCap Network is pleased to introduce three new premium newsletters, and a promotion of the Elite Opportunity to "Elite Opportunity Pro." We're sure at least one of these will meet the needs of everyone out there. I'll go ahead and tell you now the descriptions I'm about to give you for each won't do any of them justice. Just know I'm going to provide for you a link to each service's sign-up page, where you can explore each product in detail. In no certain order... Under the Radar Movers This is one we've been itching to do for a while - telling you about up-and-comers you need to know about. Some of these are turnaround stories. Some are just names getting started with a great idea or product. Most of them will be small caps and micro caps. All of them, however, will be stocks priced at less than $10 per share, which tend to yield outsized percentage gains. You won't need to ferret out underappreciated names on the verge of a rally any longer. We'll find them for you. Black Ops Trader Black Ops Trader will focus on bigger stocks - small caps to large caps - of all price ranges, telling you about the market's top swing-trading opportunities.... both long and short, bullish and bearish. These will include ETFs. Speed is the name of the game here. Get in, get out, and lock the gain in. Then repeat. The Future Investor We were hesitant to make the comparison, but it is what it is - The Future Investor portfolio is going to look a lot like one that would make Warren Buffett proud. There is one big difference between The Future Investor and Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway though. That is, we're just as willing to own growth stocks as we are value stocks. We're also willing to sell a long-term holding when the price gets more than a little frothy. This one's going to be driven by corporate fundamentals. Elite Opportunity Pro This is the same Elite Opportunity many of you already subscribe to, only better. John Monroe really dives into short-term and long-term technical analysis with the EO Pro, and is just as likely to talk about the long-term impact of economic news as he is to make a short-term swing trade suggestion on a commodity-based ETF. If you "want it all," this is still the one you want. Again, I'm under no illusion I did any of these services justice with my description. You'll just have to click on each one's link to get the whole story. With that being said, I'll throw this last bit in to wrap things up. One of the more frustrating parts about publishing the free end-of-day newsletter you're reading right now (which we'll continue to publish, though with some big changes) as well as the Elite Opportunity for the past few years is not being able to talk about all the great trading ideas we saw, and not being able to share all the great insights we head - there just wasn't a place to put them. Now that we're covering all aspects of the market though, we have room and reason to share these ideas with you. Another aspect of our new newsletters I'm thrilled about .... we don't have to pull any punches or steer clear of some topics just to keep from ruffling anyone's feathers or getting into a pointless philosophical debate with the trolls. Our premium newsletters will only be available to subscribers, so we can pretty much say and do whatever needs to be said, including things that might be a little ugly for some companies. Last but certainly not least, we're thrilled that we'll be able to do some of the higher-level research things we haven't been able to do in a while. Those of you who've been reading the SCN newsletter for a few years now may recall the time before we started the Elite Opportunity and before we started to publish a daily newsletter. When we were writing less, we were doing more analysis.... analysis you weren't getting anywhere else. With this new focus on the premium newsletters - and with an increased capacity to do higher-level research - we're glad to get back to "the way things used to be." In fact, with new teams strictly dedicated to each newsletter, we think the quality of our research and advice is going to be better than ever. In other words, if you like the SmallCap Network newsletter now, you're going to love at least one of a new three premium newsletters, as well as the improved Elite Opportunity Pro. Again, go here to learn more about The Future Investor, Elite Opportunity Pro, Black Ops Trader, and Under the Radar Movers. These are the newsletters you've been hoping somebody would start publishing.
