Sometimes the next big investing idea is right under our noses or in the case of lithium, literally right under our finger tips. That’s because you are probably reading this on a mobile device or laptop powered by lithium-ion batteries.
Happy Hump Day everyone. It's been a wild last few weeks for stocks, but we all knew that was eventually going to happen. Nothing goes up in a straight line for long and that's what the major averages had done for months and months.
Just look at the S&P 500 here dating all the way back to the bottom of 2016. That's pretty parabolic, so everything that started happening a few weeks ago was pretty much overdue. The real issue now is whether or not that selloff three weeks ago was the start of something much bigger, or just another blip on the screen before equities start gunning for new highs again.
As promised folks, we've got some great news for all of you today, but first let me lay the ground work for what's to come. We think you're going to find this to be well received. Like I said a little over a week ago, we're always looking for new ways to help all of you make money in the small and micro-cap world - no matter where that may be.
Most of you are probably fully aware we've been spending a lot more time over the last few years uncovering potential early stage growth opportunities up in Canada - those smaller stocks with U.S. listings we believe have the potential to provide far better returns in a shorter timeframe than one could ever find in the large cap arena.
Good afternoon everyone, or evening depending on where you are. The markets staged one of their biggest days all year today. As a matter of fact, the S&P 500 had its biggest day in well over a year. Hard to believe, right? I can't emphasize enough just how unprecedented the markets' behavior has truly been lately.
What I'm saying here is even though stocks across the board continue to run higher and higher, they're still finding more and more strength. This isn't normal - even if you go back through the last several months of activity. It's starting to look more and more like the late stages of the Internet Bubble, but we'll save that for another day.
