About Us
We’ve been in the business of small stocks almost as long as the Internet has been around. We’ve built, managed and hosted penny stock and small cap stock sites online for about 13 years and it wasn’t until the last couple of years that we decided it was time to build our dream the way we thought small stock investors would want to see it as well… enter SmallCap Network.
We started as Internet developers and over the years grew very fond of the markets. So much so that we have immersed ourselves into the markets at many levels and have built up a very large network of relationships consisting of friends, colleagues, associates and hundreds of casual professional acquaintances. Also, with our technical background I guess you probably understand why we’re such huge charting fans now. We just can’t escape our left brain bias!
Anyway, We’ve been saying for a long time… there’s really very few sites out there that effectively dedicate their existence to the vast world of small stocks. Furthermore, almost all of them don’t enable other intelligent small stock traders or investors with the opportunity to share their knowledge and/or help others profit from their experience. Case in point: Did you know many of our trading ideas have come from our Network? We get a LOT of ideas from emails sent to us and from perusing our site just like you can. We personally know fund managers and many industry professionals who get our newsletter every day. This gives us a huge advantage because we can sift through a lot of ideas, leave no stone unturned and inevitably bring you the ones we think can help make you good money.
We do our best to bring you ideas that can make you money and if you’ve been paying attention, our track record is pretty darn good. If you follow our newsletter regularly, we provide very strategic entry points into stocks that have provided some mind blowing short-term returns.
Sometimes we’re compensated to bring an idea to your attention. Oftentimes we’re not. We do have to monetize our site so providing advertising and awareness services for companies keeps our site free for you. However, I will say we do turn down a lot of companies looking to get covered on our site. Whether we’re compensated or not, we’ll typically only bring an idea to your attention if we really believe it has a great shot at providing you with much better than average returns. Sometimes it’s because we like the chart and/or the company’s fundamentals, other times it’s because we think their business model is compelling and sometimes it’s simply because we think the stock is at the front end of a major awareness campaign and we believe there’s money to be made trading it.
By the way, if you think that a small stock that pays for awareness never stands a chance of making it big, that’s a complete and total myth. There have been many in my time but the biggest homerun that comes to mind is we covered Force Protection (FRPT) on the OTCBB way back when at around $.10 cents per share. We were compensated to get the word out there on the Company. When the stock went to about $.50 cents or so we sold our restricted stock. The stock inevitably got their up-listing to the NASDAQ and went all the way to $40 bucks a share and was bought out by General Dynamics.
The bottom line is the markets are a very difficult place to consistently make money unless you surround yourself with others who know how to make money in the markets as well. That’s really our goal and of course, it’s a work in progress. We have a lot of ideas and plans to improve our platform and hope you find the value in what we’re working toward every day but the true value in what we have is our Network which is you and everyone else that gets our newsletter and visits our site every day so if you like what we’re doing, feel free to reach out and refer your friends and associates. The bigger we get, the better we’ll be for all SCN Members.
The SmallCap Network is one of the web’s leading small cap stock trading communities. While large caps tend to receive the majority of media attention, small and micro cap stocks as well as penny stocks can often offer the most potential for investment gains. The SmallCap Network website and free newsletter offer in-depth fundamental research and technical trading recommendations on select small cap stocks, micro cap stocks, bulletin board stocks, and actively traded penny stocks, serving as an investor resource to better tap the full potential offered by such companies. And, it’s all FREE to registered users.
SmallCapNetwork.com’s commentary and trading ideas are based on a combination of fundamental analysis, company news and events, technical analysis, market analysis, and economic analysis. This combination of several kinds of criteria allows the site’s analysts to find the very best trading ideas, which is the reason the site is quickly becoming the premier web destination for those seeking superior returns.
The SmallCapNetwork.com investment-related publishing tools allow any investor to become a financial publisher by providing them the ability publish stock picks (and trade performance), trading articles, and user-generated analysis. Registered users can publicly share their own research, articles, blog posts, charts, and stock picks through the website. Registered users can also customize the content they receive from other contributors in the community.
The one-of-a-kind publishing platform is unique in three significant ways. First, it gives a voice to creators of all legitimate content and commentary, by posting – and aggregating – this user-generated content on every company’s main ticker page, whether it’s a blog entry, related article, or a complete research report. Second, it integrates users’ stock picks and portfolios into each ticker’s main page, so the community can determine what the average opinion and trading stances are for a certain stock.
Above all else though, the third unique aspect of the publishing tool is simply that the focus on small cap stocks – rather than large cap stocks – allows investors to find research, opinions, and ideas for a certain company that they may never have found otherwise. While large cap discussions and research will still be available on the site, it is anticipated that the community research aspect of the SmallCap Network will become a primary resource for small cap and penny stock enthusiasts.
The SmallCap Network financial content publishing tools are one of a kind, as is the SCN investor community. Whether you’re a casual browser or soon-to-be-published market wizard, we’re sure this site will become instrumental to your trading and publishing success.
We hope you enjoy all that the SmallCap Network has to offer. We’re dedicated to bringing you a community platform that truly allows you to identify small stocks… before they become BIG.
